The Chinese tantalum and niobium market continued to witness few transactions in October. Supply from overseas tantalum and niobium concentrate market loosened and offers eased slightly. However, as demand from end users remained sluggish, most domestic smelters had no intention to rebuild raw material stocks. Consumers both at home and abroad watched the market and ran down stocks. It is predicted it is hard for the market to pick up in the rest of this year.
