Arsenic trioxide export market stable

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 26 May 14 - Arsenic trioxide 99%min export market is stable and the prices are hovering at USD1,450-1,500/t FOB China at present. As demand from downstream market shows no change, it is predicted the prices will be steady in the near term.
According to a Hunan-based producer, arsenic trioxide 99%min export market is stable and the prices are in the range of USD550-560/t FOB China, without much change from those of last week. Demand for the material shows no change, therefore, the market is flat. The producer also claimed that arsenic trioxide 99%min export price owns high stability and it doesn’t fluctuate much usually.
The producer also expressed that his plant produces around 200 tons of arsenic trioxide 99%min per month and he predicted that he could export around 200 tons of the material in May.
A Hunan-based trader also shared with Asian Metal that arsenic trioxide 99%min export market is stable at present. His clients keep sending orders and he is providing materials received in April now. “Arsenic trioxide 99%min export market remains stable in April, May and June, I think it will turn to be flat since July as some purchasers will be on summer vacation then,” noted the trader, who believes that he will export around 50 tons of arsenic trioxide 99%min in May.
The trader also expressed that arsenic trioxide 99%min domestic prices are RMB3,000-3,200/t (USD500-533/t) for the time being, the same with those of one week ago.
