The price of HGI coil in Chinese prevailing markets did not go up after the Spring Festival holiday, and it even fell down slightly in some regions. Even though major steel mills announced to increase the ex-works price of HGI coil for March production, it was hard for the market price to follow suit, because the weak demand from downstream consumers failed to offer support. Since most traders were bearing more pressure from bank loan and were eager to reduce stocks in the short run, insiders deem HGI coil price is likely to decline slightly in the coming month.
