Affected by the Chinese New Year holiday, transactions of both Chinese manganese flake and Chinese manganese ore import decreased in January month on month. Mainstream prices of manganese flake fell by RMB450/t (USD74.2/t) from RMB12,800-13,100/t (USD2,111-2,160/t) to RMB12,350-12,650/t (USD2,037-2,076/t) in the month, while Australian manganese ore 43-44% prices kept stable at RMB37-38/mtu (USD6.1-6.3/mtu) in general.
