This month, Chinese manganese alloy market kept at a low level and the mainstream price continued decreasing. Impacted by price decreasing and the coming Spring Festival holiday, manganese alloy operation rate was as low as 20% in many provinces. In international market, the export volume of silicomanganese and ferromanganese was much smaller than the imported volume from other foreign countries, because Chinese price was not competitive due to high export duty.
