Steel billet prices declined significantly in September and steel billet market struggled with slight decline in October. Reasons for the price trend are as follows. Firstly, the downstream steel rolling market struggled and remained rather quiet, so steel rolling enterprises were cautious about purchasing steel billet. Secondly, commodity raw material market struggled, placing no supports for the prices of steel billet.
