BEIJING (Asian Metal) 21 Oct 13 - Zinc oxide demand is dull this year, and the deal volume decreased slightly compared with that last year. In addition, the price of zinc price kept at a low level, so it was hard for zinc oxide producers to increase price. Despite all these, consumers without funds and orders had no power to purchase zinc oxide. The growth of Chinese economy slowed down since last year. The demand for tire and rubber industry, electron and phosphorizing liquid industry was limited, so zinc oxide demand decreased and zinc oxide import was lower than that last year.
