Prices of HGI coil in Chinese prevailing markets witnessed an upward trend at the beginning of this month, while they remained unchanged during the second half of the month. Support from production cost was not strong enough, so many leading steel mills kept the list price of HGI coil unchanged for October production. However, demand from downstream industries is expected to release a little in the so-called Silver October. Insiders deem HGI coil market is hard to make obvious improvements in the following month but the price is likely to increase slightly.
