BEIJING (Asian Metal) 23 Sep 13 – Green silicon carbide industry grew explosively during 2009-2011 due to the sharp increasing demand from PV market. Chinese green silicon carbide production capacity increased from only about 400,000 tons in 2009 to more than 1.3 million tons in 2011, with an incredible annual rate of 113%.
