Aluminum ingot stocks in Chinese market had been keeping increasing since the third quarter of 2012, and the stocks reached record high in this April. Afterwards, the stocks started to decrease, to which one of the reason is the purchase by Chinese State Reserve Bureau. Another more important reason is the fast-growing aluminum semi-products outputs. However, Chinese demand for aluminum slowed down obviously together with the economy. The blooming of aluminum semi-production does not reflect strong end consumption and cannot solve the problem of serious oversupply.
