Magnesium ingot market remained pessimistic in early June with falling prices. Reasons were as followed: Firstly, the market demand was unlikely to improve given little interest from buyers and the dim economic situation; secondly, plants with high stocks were anxious about moving materials due to the over-supply, so the price competition would persist; on top of that, the Q3 was the traditional off season in overseas market with few requirement.
