Cobalt market in June swept away the dull performance, and performed much better than last several months, with prices of cobalt materials increased sharply after the Dragon Boat Festival. One of the most imported reasons for the price increase was that the policy of Democratic Republic of Congo towards cobalt concentrates export is unclear, and some cobalt tycoons fuelled the market, and pushed the price higher and higher supported by speculation. What we can see was that some customers started to replenish inventories stimulated by the increasing price rise, and it leaded to a warmer market in June.
