Steel billet price in domestic market is in a “N”trend this month which has increased by RMB60-200/t. Take steel billet Q235 150mm*150mm in Tangshan, Hebei as an example, steel billet price was in a declining trend in the first half of June which depreciated to RMB2,890-2,910/t. Then the price increased slowly to RMB3,010-3,030/t VAT included ex-works till mid June. The stock market slumps and price in the future market declines significantly due to “money shortage”. As a consequence, steel billet price is in a weak statement.
