In June, silicon carbide market remained sluggish and the demand from downstream consumers was still weak, like abrasives plants, refractories producers, steel mills, casting industry and PV enterprises. The concluded volume of black silicon carbide in this month was approximate to the figure in May, and the unbalance of grade-one and grade-two products was eased. Green silicon carbide still did not see any improvement in view of the slow movement in PV market. Export market fluctuated little, with price remaining at a low level.
