The silicon carbide market showed a better performance in the first quarter than the same time of last year. Most producers who insisted production keeps a fully output. With the slow movement in downstream customers, silicon carbide remained sluggish in general. Green silicon carbide market saw some appreciation in price ascribe to the higher price of raw materials. Export market saw more orders and purchase activities increased, but the price remained at a low level with thin profit in traders.
