Steel scrap prices had declined by RMB20-120/t in domestic market this month with RMB10-120/t and RMB20-110/t in South China and North China respectively. Steel scrap prices tended to drop further as steel market went down, which made mills pessimistic. At the same time, some traders hurried to clear stocks and most participants expected the market to remain at a low level.
