This month, prices of steel raw materials like iron ore and billet continued to drop, while the output of crude steel in China was still running at a high level. In addition, major steel mills announced to lower CRC ex-works prices for May production. Affected by these factors, prices of CRC in Chinese leading markets witnessed a downward trend. However, the rate of price decrease slowed down. Insiders deem the price of CRC is likely to be stable in the coming month.
