Chinese steel plate prices moved down greatly on a national scale during this month due to the weak demand from downstream industries. Traders began to reduce the inventory to avoid potential commercial risks and many steel mills had to cut ex-works prices to attract more orders. Though the oversupply is still serious, the demand is likely to increase slowly in April. In view of that, insiders deem that the price is about to increase a little in April.
