On the afternoon of 21 August 2019, Lloyd Kaiser, GM of Sales and Marketing and Richard Brescianini, GM of Exploration of Australia Arafura Resources Limited as well as Gloria Zhang, Managing Director of Intlang Consulting Group visited Asian Metal and were warmly received by Vivian Pang, Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal. The both sides exchanged opinion about rare earth price trends and the supply-demand pattern in global rare earth market.
Arafura Resources is an Australian company, which is developing their 100%-owned Nolans NdPr Project in the Northern Territory. Nolans deposit has a highly desirable rare earths mix, and contains 56 million tons of mineral resources at an average grade of 2.6% rare earth oxides Two-thirds of these mineral resources are high confidence measured and indicated resources. The measured and indicated resources base have the potential to support mining and processing operations for at least 30 years. Nolans NdPr Project is rich at NdPr, and the company aims to produce 4,357t of PrNd oxide per year. Its PrNd oxide cost is about USD25.94/kg at present.
Lloyd, Richard and Gloria spoke highly of Asian Metal's information service and hope both sides could maintain communication in the future.
