Asian Metal visits Guizhou No.7 Grinding Wheel and Jinshan Abrasive
At 8:30 am of December 27th, 2017, Zhao Hao, the marketing director and Iris He, the analyst of refractories market of Asian Metal visited Guizhou Dazhong No.7 Grinding Wheel Co., Ltd. Li Xiangdong, the vice general manager, Liang Lu, the minister of sales department, as well as Lei Yuping and Shang Jin, managers of sales department gave a warm reception and showed around the workshops of the plants with a history of 50 years. Manager Li noted that as a stated-owned enterprise, the company actively responded to national policy of environmental protection and control as well as concentrated on the investment and transform of its plants. Being a leading company of brown fused alumina in China, No.7 Grinding Wheel, always insisted on its original intention, owned unique manufacturing technique and quality supervision system as well as kept the principle that quality is the first. When speaking to the overall market condition in 2017, Manager Li claimed that on the one hand, enterprises' production costs would definitely increase due to the gradually improved environmental protection policy and regulation as well as the normalization of environmental inspections, which required companies invest and transform to meet the national standard; on the other hand, as the basic raw materials of the resource-oriented industry, the protection and development limitation in limited resources would also be an important factor that affects the supply and prices for brown fused alumina.
During the talk, Manager Li stated that Asian Metal is the first to provide the consulting platform of refractory material industry such as corundum and also offer the latest news for the development of the industry with a practical and realistic attitude. At 11:00 am, Asian Metal visited Guizhou Qingzhen Jinshan Abrasive Material Co., Ltd. Xiong Huapeng, the general manager gave a warm reception and showed around production lines. Manager Xiong stated that the supply of brown fused alumina was seriously tight and couldn't meet the demand in Guizhou limited by the production suspension of producers in Henan. In addition, Manager Xiong also claimed that bauxite, the raw material, would be an important factor that restricts the production of brown fused alumina. Asian Metal invited Jinshan Abrasive to take part in the International Refractories & Abrasives Summit held in April 2018 and Manager noted that the company would join in actively and communicate about the industry condition.
