JINS International visits Asian Metal

On 19th October, Mr. Jin Kim, CEO of JINS International from South Korea visited Asian Metal and talked about the silicon metal and manganese markets with Serena Lee, Susan Yin and Beta Chen from Asian Metal. Mr. Kim and Asian Metal shared the ideas and prediction of the above metals market. Mr. Kim appreciated Asian Metal's information and he will attend “2012 the 7th Minor Metal Summit” held by Asian Metal in Sanya, Hainan on 24th to 26th October.
Mr. Kim talked about the silicon metal market with Susan Yin, associate analyst of silicon products in Asian Metal. He claimed that the overall demand for silicon metal from South Korea decreases this year. Moreover, China has started an investigation of anti-dumping towards the polysilicon produced in South Korea. If China imposes the anti-dumping tax on South Korea polysilicon, polysilicon production in the local area will decrease and the consumption for silicon metal will fall accordingly.
Mr. Kim and Serena Lee, analyst of manganese market, have a conversation about the current manganese market. Mr. Kim is interested in expanding demand of manganese products from South Korea and wants to have deep and long-term cooperation with Chinese manganese flake smelters. Serena Lee introduces some manganese flake and manganese briquette producers to him, and Mr Kim expressed that he will have further discussion with certain smelter.
Mr. Kim also discussed the business of nitriding ferromanganese which will be carried out in the near future by him with the assistant analyst Beta Chen, who is in charge of manganese alloys in Asian Metal. At last, he hopes that he can continue to strengthen cooperation with Asian Metal and both can hand in hand progress farther and better on the road of development.
