On 25 March, Qinghai Taifeng Xianxing Lithium Energy Technology Co., Ltd. started construction of its 160,000-ton-per-annum high-energy-density lithium battery materials intelligent manufacturing base project in Xining, Qinghai. With a total investment of RMB3 billion (USD0.46 billion), the project will construct the 160,000-ton-per-annum high-energy-density lithium battery materials intelligent manufacturing base project in the first phase. After reaching designed production capacity, the project will achieve annual production value of RMB20 billion (USD3.06 billion) and annual tax of RMB500 million (USD76.44 million).
