Yibin Tianyuan Group signs comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with CATL

Yibin Tianyuan Group announced on March 16, 2021 that Tianyuan Group, CATL and Yibin Libode, an important joint-stock subsidiary of Tianyuan Group, jointly signed the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement (2021-2030). According to the agreement, all parties will carry out comprehensive strategic cooperation in business, capital and research and development, fully seize the great development opportunity of the new energy industry chain, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Yibin as an important lithium battery production base in China.
Under the same market price, CATL agreed to make it a priority to purchase no less than 200,000 tons of cathode materials produced by Yibin Libode in the next ten years (2021-2030), no less than 15,000 tons in 2021 and no less than 25,000 tons in 2022. The specific cooperation content and method shall be subject to the formal supply agreement signed by both parties.
