Jianlong Group to accelerate 10-million-ton overseas iron and steel layout

Recently, Zhang Zhixiang, Chairman and President of Jianglong Group, revealed that the company will accelerate formation of the 10-million-ton overseas production capacity layout during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
According to Zhang Zhixiang, Jianlong Group will strive for 50 million tons of wholly-owned and controlling iron and steel production capacity and 50 million tons of holding iron and steel production capacity during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. In terms of overseas layout strategy, the company will continue making plans at the same time. In terms of overseas projects layout, the company will speed up formation of 5 million tons of iron and steel production scale in Eastern Steel in Malaysia. Meanwhile, it will enhance iron and steel demand and prospect analysis in Europe, Southeast Asia and other areas and make decisions on layout at the right time and in the place to form 10-million-ton overseas production scale as soon as possible.
