ITC launches 337 investigation into Caihong Optoelectronics

According to the announcement released by Caihong Display Devices on May 28, Sharp had filed a 337 investigation application with the International Trade Commission (ITC), alleging that certain LCD devices and components exported to, imported from, and sold in the United States violated its patent right, and it requested the ITC to issue a limited exclusion order and an injunction. Xianyang Caihong Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and its related customers were involved in the case. The ITC has now decided to launch a 337 investigation into LCD devices, their components and downstream products.
