CINF (CINF Engineering Corporation Limited) signed a designing contract on DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) Copper Cobalt Project with Hong Kong Excellen Mining Investment Luilu Resrouce Co
As a mining company that has engaged in mining in DRC for several years, Hong Kong Excellen Mining Investment owns several copper cobalt mineral properties and production facilities in this country. The three copper cobalt projects of the company in DRC have a total indicated copper resource volume of about 1 . 5 million tons and a total indicated cobalt resource of 200,000t.
The 20,000tpy copper cathode project and the 3,000tpy (cobalt metal) hydrometallurigical cobalt hydroxide project of Hong Kong Excellen Mining Investment Luilu Resrouce Co., Ltd . mainly uses the wasted tailing resources of Luilu . These tailing resources totally contain over 1,600t of tailing sand, of which the grade of copper and cobalt is less than 2% and 0 . 4% on average respectively . The two projects conclude mining, dressing, metallurgy facilities, tailing ore warehouses as supporting facilities with a total investment of about RMB600 million (USD84 . 80 million) as estimated.
