The whole tantalum market remained stable in April as it is generally believed that prices have already reached high levels. International tantalite price did not rise, so did that of domestic market. Demand for tantalum powder, wire remained steady. Serious earthquake broke out on 11 Mar in Japan, some tantalum capacitor plants were forced to halt production, which will have effect on tantalum market.
