At the beginning of March, there were more enquiries in China’s indium market. The supply of indium 99% was as tight as that in February, and the price began to rise. In March, the impacts brought by earthquake and tsunami happened in Japan on the indium market was limited. Although there were some impacts brought by blocked traffic and extended deliveries by consumers due to the earthquake, the indium price decreased slightly, while the indium price began to rise in China as the enquiries increased in Japan and the re-production of Nippon Mining in April.
