CISA: Daily crude steel output increases by 6% in early and Mid-Feb

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Mar 11 – Statistics of China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) showed that the daily output of crude steel reached 1.814 million tons in Mid-February, witnessing an obvious increase compared with 1.703 million tons in Mid-January. In addition, the volume was 1.8004 million tons during the early and Mid-February, rising by nearly 6% month-on-month.
In addition, member enterprises of CISA produced 15.949 million tons of crude steel in Mid-February and the domestic volume was estimated to be 18.14 million tons.
Meanwhile, the stock of major domestic enterprises reached 9.46 million tons during the early and Mid-February, while it was only 7.57 million tons at the end of January. Analysts attribute the yield rebound to the better market performance during this period.
