Grirem Advanced Materials to prepare the GEM

According to informed sources, Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd is planning a new GEM, while the Aluminum Corp of China has become a strategic investor of the company.
Public information, Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to “Grirem”) is founded after an entire restructuring to National Engineering Research Center for Rare Earth Materials (hereinafter referred to “CREM”) as a joint-stock company in 2001, with Beijing General Research Institute for Non-ferrous Metals (hereinafter referred to “GRINM”) as the main sponsor. Grirem focuses on the production, research and development of rare earth and related materials, possessing an integrated industry chain from rare earth mining to rare earth functional materials. Its Products had passed the ISO9001: 2000 quality system certification. In addition, Grirem owns independent import-export right.
Besides headquarter in Beijing, Grirem has three subsidiary holding companies, they are Jiangsu Guosheng Rare Earth Co., Ltd., Leshan Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and Langfang GANS Magnetic Material Co., Ltd. Daily products of Beijing headquarter include RE metal, RE special alloys, RE magnetic materials and luminescent materials; Jiangsu Guosheng Rare Earth Co., Ltd. focuses on RE separation and purification, production of RE oxides and salts; Leshan Grirem Advanced materials Co., Ltd. mainly produces RE metals and alloys; Langfang GANS Magnetic Material Co., Ltd majors in NdFeB materials. At present, total capacity of RE products in Grirem exceeds 10,000 tons per year, among which more than 60% is exported to Japan, Europe, America, Korea, and so on. During the past six years since its establishment, Grirem experienced a rapid progress as follows: the sales revenue increased by 65% averagely, exports for foreign exchanges achieved an annual increase rate of more than 95% and the annual net profit increase rate reached 32%.
