BEIJING (Asian Metal) 29 Oct 10 - According to Ministry of Finance, the export quota of tungsten products is 15,700t in 2011, increased compared to 14,300t in 2010.
Asian Metal checked with market participants, and learned from one of the major exporters that the increased volume include the companies which have foreign investment which was not included in the quota in the past years. “Therefore, the export policy will remain the same as in the past that China is tightening the export volume of strategic metals.”
The source revealed to Asian Metal that he already sold APT at USD280/mtu to USA and expects price to rise further.
