The domestic section steel market performed inactively during the month, and prices continued the downward trend. The demand from downstream industries shrank further dragged by the high temperature and the continuous rains. End users strictly purchased from hand to mouth upon insufficient orders for final products. However, steel mills kept reluctant to move down prices sharply supported by the firm costs.
