Hongyan New Materials and Zhilv New Materials secure ASI certification

The Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced that Yunnan Hongyan New Materials Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Zhilv New Materials Co., Ltd. both achieved certification against the ASI Performance Standard V3.1 (2023).
The two plants specialize in producing high-performance aluminum alloys for automotive body sheets, battery foils, and easy-open can end stock. Their operations feature an integrated production chain covering raw material melting, alloying, casting, and hot rolling, manufacturing aluminum alloy slabs, plates, and strips. With a combined capacity of approximately 250,000tpy of aluminum alloy slabs and 300,000tpy of aluminum plate and strip products, the plants are well-positioned to meet growing demand in the automotive, energy storage, and packaging sectors.
