PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, the primary subsidiary of Jakarta-listed PT Amman Mineral Internasional, aims to double its copper cathode production this year following the successful completion of its smelter ramp-up, the company's chief executive said Tuesday.
CEO Rachmat Makassau told a parliamentary committee that the company plans to produce 162,662 dry metric tons of copper cathode in 2026, up significantly from 79,848 tons in 2025.
Makassau noted that Amman completed the smelter commissioning process in April, following several leakage incidents last year that had temporarily disrupted operations and required a restart of the commissioning phase.
