Chongqing Shunbo Aluminum Co., Ltd.'s Ma'anshan new materials industrial base (phase II) represents a total investment of RMB4.8 billion. (USD705.57 million) Spanning approximately 742 mu (about 49.5 hectares) with a total floor area of 331,600 square meters, the facility features a fully integrated production chain encompassing melting, hot rolling, cold rolling, heat treatment, and finishing. The overall complex comprises two major production sub-projects and five main workshops.
The project is being developed in two phases, with a designed core capacity of 630,000tpy of aluminum flat ingot and 500,000tpy of aluminum sheet-- and the core production blocks have already achieved stable output. In phase I, the 630,000tpy of aluminum alloy flat ingot project is currently producing 13,500 tons per month; in phase II, the hot rolling line of the 500,000tpy of aluminum sheet project is turning out 12,000 tons per month. With all main workshop structures now completed, commissioning work for the cold rolling and finishing workshops is progressing on schedule. By the end of June, the entire facility is expected to be ready for trial production.
As the full industrial chain gradually comes online, the project is projected to achieve a monthly shipment volume of approximately 15,000 tons, with an annual production target of 100,000tpy. Once operating at full capacity, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding RMB20 billion (USD2.94 billion) and create hundreds of local job opportunities.
