FuJin New Materials plans 30ktpy new energy aluminum foil project

FuJin New Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd., announced plans to invest in a new energy aluminum foil project with a total investment of RMB365 million (USD53.65 million). Of this, RMB293 million (USD43.07 million) is allocated for construction, RMB6.21 million (USD912,833) for interest during the construction period, and RMB65.6 million (USD9.64 million) for working capital. The project will be financed through a combination of FuJin New Materials' own capital and bank loans.
With a designed capacity of 30,000tpy, the project's product mix includes 21,600tpy of aluminum foil for aluminum-plastic film, 1,200tpy of cold-formed aluminum foil, 4,800tpy of electronic aluminum foil, and 2,400tpy of pharmaceutical foil. Construction is scheduled to take two years and will involve the installation of three aluminum foil rolling mills, along with supporting slitting machines, annealing furnaces, and other auxiliary equipment. The site is located in the northwestern section of the Yulian Industrial Park, Zhanjie Town, Gongyi City.
Zhongfu Industrial estimates that the project will generate average annual revenue of RMB853 million (USD125.39 million) and an average annual net profit of RMB31.95 million (USD4.70 million), with an investment payback period of 9.9 years (including the construction phase).
