Dragged by the poor demand from flame retardant, glass and PET industries, prices of Chinese antimony concentrate, antimony ingot, antimony trioxide, ethylene glycol antimony and sodium pyroantimonate declined by about RMB3,000/mt Sb (USD440.47/mt Sb),RMB11,000/mt (USD1,615.06/mt),RMB10,000/mt (USD1,468.23/mt), RMB9,000/mt (USD1,321.41/mt) and RMB7,000/mt (USD1,027.76/mt) MoM respectively in May 2026.
The Japanese and South Korean antimony markets saw few deals and downward prices. Indian, European and North American suppliers preferred to hold inventory rather than mark down prices.
