Indonesia's PT Timah targets 30,000 tonnes of refined tin output for 2026

Indonesian state-owned tin miner PT Timah has set a refined tin production target of 30,000 metric tonnes for 2026, with a sales target of 26,000 metric tonnes, company director Ilhamsyah Mahendra said on Wednesday.
This year's output target is 68% higher than the 17,815 tonnes produced in 2025, while the sales target represents a 56% increase from the 16,634 tonnes recorded last year.
In the first quarter of the year, the company produced 5,630 tonnes of refined tin, while sales over the same period reached 6,009 tonnes.
