Vietnam Dak Nong aluminum project achieves first power transmission

The 450,000t primary aluminum project in Dak Nong, Vietnam, contracted by China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), has completed its first power transmission. This landmark progress paves the way for subsequent system commissioning and trial production.
As Vietnam's first electrolytic aluminum project, NFC worked closely with the project owner Tran Hong Quan Metallurgy Co., Ltd. The two sides overcame challenges including the lack of local industrial codes and divergent technical standards, and jointly delivered key work such as power supply scheme design, equipment testing and integrated system commissioning.
