Defu Technology to build AI-grade circuit copper foil project

Jiujiang Defu Technology Co., Ltd. announced plans to construct a new project with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of high-end AI electronic circuit copper foil in Jiujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The project comprises production workshops and supporting facilities for the above capacity. It will be implemented on the premises of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Jiujiang Amber New Materials Co., Ltd., covering a land area of approximately 6.67 hectares. The total estimated investment stands at RMB3.1 billion (USD457 million), including around RMB2.1 billion (USD310 million) for fixed assets and RMB1 billion (USD147 million) for operating working capital. The final amount will be subject to actual expenditure.
The development will be carried out in two phases, each with an annual copper foil capacity of 25,000 tons.
