Xinlong Mining to resume antimony production

Hunan Gold Corporation Limited announced that its subsidiary Hunan Xinlong Mining Co., Ltd. will resume production starting May 26, 2026. According to a preliminary estimate by the company's Finance and Assets Department, the temporary shutdown is expected to cut current net profit by approximately RMB40 million (USD5.89 million).
As previously disclosed on April 25, 2026, a roof collapse occurred at the 630 Tunnel during exploration work conducted by staff from Zhejiang MCC Construction Group Co., Ltd., the mining contractor. One employee of the contractor lost his life in the accident. Xinlong Mining subsequently suspended production for rectification on a voluntary basis.
