China launches pilot verification for mining robots

China's General Affairs Department of the National Mine Safety Administration and the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have jointly issued a notice to launch a pilot program for the application and validation of mining robots.

The pilot covers seven major scenarios: tunneling, mining, transportation, mineral processing, auxiliary operation, safety control and emergency rescue.
