Jinli Gold and Lead commissions low-carbon smelting slag recycling project

Henan Jinli Gold and Lead Group Co., Ltd.'s RMB300 million (USD44.1 million) green and low-carbon resource utilization project has officially been put into operation.
The project was jointly developed and built by Jinli Group in close partnership with Hunan Juyin Trading Co., Ltd. Covering 210mu (14 hectares) and designed to be built in two phases, the facility will process 500,000 tonnes of smelting slag annually once fully operational. It will recover 90,000 tonnes of iron concentrate and 15,000 tonnes of zinc oxide by-product per year. The project is expected to generate RMB500 million (USD73.5 million) in annual sales revenue and RMB100 million (USD14.7 million) in taxes and profits, while creating more than 200 jobs.
