Aluminum industrial chain project in Xiyan to start production in Sep

The first 600kA aluminum electrolysis test cell for the aluminum industrial chain project at the Xiyan Circular Economy Industrial Park in Yuxian County has been completed and passed acceptance.
The project is invested and constructed by Huayang Group, with a total investment of more than RMB5.6 billion (USD824 million). The first phase is designed to have an annual capacity of 294,000 tonnes and is expected to start production in September. Once fully operational, the project's annual output value is projected to exceed RMB10 billion (USD1.47 billion).
Leveraging local bauxite resources, favorable transportation links, and an established industrial base, the project adopts advanced 600kA prebaked aluminum electrolysis cell technology. Upon completion, it will significantly boost production capacity, lower energy consumption, and reduce carbon emissions.
