Hainan Xingzhihai New Materials Co., Ltd. produced 1,760.5 tonnes of lithium hydroxide in April, exceeding its monthly production target of 1,650 tonnes and setting a new record for single-month output.
The company's 20,000tpa battery-grade lithium hydroxide project, with a total investment of RMB1.06 billion (USD155 million), began construction in late 2022 and was commissioned in June 2025. The project is expected to generate annual output value exceeding RMB2 billion (USD293 million).
