    1. Market Highlights

    In March, prices for Chinese HC ferrochrome and LC ferrochrome went up under increasing production costs, while prices of silico-chrome stayed stable under regular purchasing activities. Prices for HC ferrochrome and LC ferrochrome in Europe also went up, while prices in the United States stayed stable.

    In March, the in-port prices and import prices of South African, Turkish and Zimbabwean chrome ore went up despite of inactive buying activities.

    Prices of Chinese chrome metal, chromic anhydride and chromium oxide green stayed stable went down under inactive purchasing activities.
