As consumers in North China purchased as scheduled, prices of manganese ores from South Africa went up, while prices of manganese ore from Australia, Brazil and Gabon stood firm. Silicomanganese went up slightly as suppliers refuse lower prices. Ferromanganese remained steady as the market run stable. Manganese sulfate moved up as consumers quickly accept the rising offers.
Prices of manganese flake in the domestic market fell in the first half under active purchasing activities, while prices moved up in the second half in this month. Influenced by domestic prices, the export prices of manganese flake, manganese lump and manganese briquette fluctuated accordingly.
