Dahao Mining receives approval to build Xiaodong Antimony Project in Yunnan

The Xichou County Xiaodong antimony mining and processing project developed by Wenshan Dahao Mining Development Co., Ltd., a majority-owned subsidiary of BGT Group, has been approved by Yunnan Development and Reform Commission.
The project will build a new underground mine with a designed mining capacity of 90,000 tonnes per year. Construction is expected to take two years, with a mine life of 12 years. The project will produce antimony concentrate and involves a total planned investment of about RMB294 million (USD43.01 million).
The mining license for Xiaodong antimony mine is valid until July 3, 2034. The deposit has identified resources of 1.115 million tonnes of antimony ore, containing 34,900 tonnes of antimony with an average grade of 3.13%. This included measured resources of 155,000 tonnes, containing 5,608 tonnes of antimony at 3.62% Sb on average, indicated resources of 358,000 tonnes, containing 12,730 tonnes of antimony at 3.56% Sb on average, and inferred resources of 602,000 tonnes, amounting to 16,562 tonnes of antimony.
