1. Market Highlights
In early December, Chinese tungsten prices increased on the back of a bullish supplier outlook. As producers moved to lock in gains from recent orders, and buyers downstream adopted a watchful stance, tungsten concentrate and tungsten scrap prices eased slightly before stabilizing late in the month. Other tungsten products held steady.
In the export market, due to tight supply and high prices of raw material, the export prices of tungsten products increased and then stabilized in the late December.
In the international market, as market participants stock up before the holiday season, the tungsten prices saw an overall upward trend under tight raw material supply in December.
