MOFCOM approves rare earth export licence for some Chinese exporters

On December 18, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said at a press conference that since export controls were imposed on rare earth-related items, the relevant Chinese authorities have conducted policy briefings for domestic exporters. As companies have gained experience in export operations and compliance, some have met the basic requirements to apply for general licences.
